G. B. Jones

G. B. Jones is a Canadian Appropriation artist based in Toronto. Her principal medium is graphite on paper.

Her solo debut was in 1991 at Feature Inc. in New York, where she was represented by Hudson until 2000. From 2002 to 2009 she was represented by Toronto dealer Paul Petro at Paul Petro Contemporary Art. Since 2010 she has been represented by Lexander of Lexander Gallery.

From 1985 to 2002 she focused upon an extensive series of drawings referred to as the Tom Girls, which originally began as an appropriation of the drawings of Finnish artist Tom of Finland.
